Renee Bisch
Hello. My name is Renee. Thank you for your interest in massage and reflexology. I first began my journey toward health and wellness on a farm near New Hamburg, Ontario where exercise, fresh air, nature, gardens and animals were an everyday occurrence. The foundation for good health had been established. We raised our four children in rural Wellesley where we spent a lot of time outdoors, flying kites, canoeing down the Nith, taking care of our free range chickens and corraling our shepherd/lab cross pups. I often enjoyed the soft warm breezes on many a summer night, watering herb, vegetable and flower gardens. And during the day it was common to see several loads of laundry fluttering in the wind. It's amazing how the simplest of pleasures can provide such a strong basis for health and wellness. Just as our country property sustained us in so many ways, I've always been more inclined to seek out natural remedies when addressing health concerns. I have strong hands and each day I surrender them to God to be used in the service of others. I've been living and working in the heart of Waterloo for 12 years now. First, as a part-time reflexologist and gradually working my way into massage. It's always been such a joy to watch my clients' response post treatment, that obvious look of calm, relief and contentment due to the stress and tension having all melted away. In my free time, you'll catch me hiking all over Southwestern Ontario with my collie and hiking friends. Spring is here, the buds are shooting and the perennials are blooming. I'll soon be digging in the dirt, pulling weeds, potting flowers and planting herbs and vegetables. I enjoy cooking but especially during the summer and fall months when I'm able to use so many fresh ingredients from my gardens. Pulling clean laundry off the line, making homemade soap, getting involved in church activities or watching an educational podcast all help to ground me and fill my spirit with joy so that I can give my best to others.
